I LOVE Dr. Grunsky! He always makes you feel like you are his ONLY patient! He's very attentive and curious, as to how I'm doing and if we found a solution to my problem/concern. He's a great doctor...one of the best things about Dr. Grunsky is that I always feel like he has my best interest at heart. I HIGHLY recommend him to new people in the area and to people that may have issues with their current doctor.

Dr. Grunsky earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina (USC) School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Grunsky was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in medical school. He then completed his residency at Cabbarus Family Medicine in Concord, North Carolina, where he was chief resident.
Dr. Grunsky enjoys the variety of ages of patients he sees at Colonial Family Practice. He especially likes becoming part of his patients’ “extended family” as he cares for them throughout their lives.
In his personal life, Dr. Grunsky enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends. He proudly serves as the team physician for the USC Sumter Fire Ants. Dr. Grunsky is active in the Trinity Methodist Youth Group.

My visit with Mitch is always a pleasure. He is so helpful and understanding. After being with another doctor from 1998 - 2010, Dr.Grunsky determined I have heart desease and basically saved my life. Had EKG, stress test, and was refered to a cardiologist for a heart catheterization. Wow!!!!!!!!! Thanks to his professionalism and vast knowledge of the medical field, he took every step to improve my quality of life and extend it as well.

He always greets you with a smile and listens to you. I wouldn't want anyone else to be my doctor because one time I was having some stomach problems that he couldn't figure out at first and he called me at home to check on me. This was not a recorded message or his nurse it was him. That meant a lot to me, that showed me that he truly cares for his patients. He gets an A+ in my book.

The doctor was great. Unfortunately I found the nurses unprofessional and the wait time was RIDICULOUS considering I had an appointment. While waiting, I saw several nurses standing idly. And I wasn't the only one waiting. I don't see myself coming back.
