Dr. Pahlavan is a graduate of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed his fellowship in nephrology at Winthrop-University Hospital and a second fellowship in transplant nephrology Stony-Brook University Hospital. Dr.Pahlavan completed his residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Pahlavan is a physician of Long Island Kidney Care, PC. with offices in Plainview, N.Y. He is affiliated with Winthrop-University Hospital; North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Plainview, Syosset and Glen Cove; Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park; Mercy Medical Center, St.Joseph's Hospital; Good Samaritan Hospital and Franklin Hospitals. What a wonderful and caring Dr and just as important, his interning PA was just as incredible too. The questions asked were not the usual perfunctory type. Rather they were probing and when I would answer the questions, they were probed deeper and not taken at face value and simply marked in a chart.
I don't know yet whether my ailment is kidney related, but I do know if they are, this Dr will be able to help. If you need a competent, caring professional, Dr Pahlovan is the one to see.
