Dr. Molly Long attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her baccalaureate degree in biochemistry and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated in the top 3% of her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Long completed her internship and residency at the University of South Florida which provided extensive training in surgery, gynecology and high-risk obstetrics. She is trained in minimally invasive surgery and outpatient surgery for incontinence. She specializes in da Vinci minimally invasive hysterectomies, Novasure and Thermachoice endometrial ablations, and no incision Essure vaginal tubal ligations. Dr. Long was in private practice in Denver, Colorado for six years and has been in practice in St. Petersburg since June of 2005.
Dr. Long is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She serves as Chairman of the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and previously the Chairman of the Bayfront Quality Improvement Committee. She is also a member of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society and the Pinellas County Medical Association. In Best of the Bay 2014, Dr. Long was voted best OB/GYN.

I have been going to Women’s Care Florida for five years. I am continually happy with my experiences there. Staff is always nice and friendly. Dr. Tijerino takes very good care of me and Dr. Long was very thorough regarding surgical options for me. I highly recommend this practice.

First visit with Dr. Long and I felt very comfortable with her and she seemed very caring. She’s extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions in detail making sure I clearly understood. Everyone in the office was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Love all these girls at Women's Care FL. Dr. Long and Dr. Diner delivered my children. All of then are amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable! I recommend this practice to any of my friends looking for an Obgyn. Janet And Donna are great as well!

I am a female to male transman and I was referred to Dr. Anna Wouters by my primary doctor because I was in need of a complete hysterectomy. Being a 100% passable transman, I try to avoid OBGYN offices as much as possible because it’s very awkward and confusing for the other patients in the waiting room and the employees. Usually I will have anything gyno related done with my primary doctor, however he cannot perform a hysterectomy - therefore I ended up at the Women’s Care office on 66th street. From the moment I entered the building and spoke with the receptionist, (I believe it was Allie) my nervousness melted away and I felt like a normal guy at the doctor. The kindness, helpfulness, respect and professionalism at this office has made a huge impact on me as a patient and a person. Then I met Dr. Anna Wouters. From the moment I met her, Dr. Anna Wouters felt like a long time friend or older sister. She is literally the sweetest, kindest woman I have ever met. She is INCREDIBLY intelligent and confident in her ability as a surgeon and a doctor which put my mind at ease. She was very easy to talk to, explained everything in detail but in terms I could relate to and understand (I can recognize that I am a little “blonde”) but she was patient and very informative. She drew pictures and helped me understand everything she would doing during the procedure, why, potential risks and complications, and answered all my questions confidentially without missing a beat. She is a doctor who genuinely, truly cares about her patients and wants to help them improve their overall quality of life. Lorena and Kristin were also incredibly helpful in dealing with my 1,000 questions and also with communicating to my insurance company throughout the entire process. Lorena made sure to come and see me the morning of my surgery before I went under anesthesia, to tell me she would be there and to make sure I saw a familiar face because she knew I was nervous and I don’t do well with IV’s blood etc.I can’t say enough amazing things about this staff and how much they helped me through this entire process. I want them all to know how big of an impact they have made on my life and how truly thankful I am for each and everyone one of them ?Thank you ladies!-Will Boyer

I met Dr. Anna Wouters for the first time today. She is the best GYN I have ever been to. She listens to everything that you have to say, asking for details along the way, so she can fully understand the patient in front of her. I would highly recommended her.

Dr. Long is so very understanding and explained everything she was doing. Her bedside manner is fablous. I had a wonderful nusre, Barb, check me in. She was also amazing. The staff are so nice and make you feel comfortable and at ease.
