Monique Konecny is a Licensed Acupuncturist at the Andersonville location. She started her career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist, and had turns working in marketing and investigations before being attracted to studying acupuncture. After graduating with her Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine degree from the rigorous Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (Chicago) program in 2009, she worked in busy integrative medicine settings at hospitals in both rural northern Indiana and the Detroit metro area, working alongside other medical professionals. She has experience with pediatric to geriatric populations, and especially enjoys working with women’s health issues and pregnancy. She believes in every body’s innate ability to heal, and is passionate about helping to facilitate that process with acupuncture.

Monique is simply amazing. Not only does she have a great bedside manner, but her technique and knowledge of everything TCM are fantastic. She’s treated me for everything from period regulation/acne to an ankle stress fracture, and even cleared up my shingles outbreak in 2 weeks (with no lingering symptoms!). I simply cannot recommend her highly enough!

Monique is fantastic! Her office is clean and modern. Staff was welcoming. Parking in the area was pretty easy. She is easy to talk to and knew exactly what I needed. Monique is gentle yet effective and she came to check on me during the treatment to make sure I was ok and even offered me water after the session. I'm pretty picky with my acupuncturist so I'm beyond happy I found her. After a few treatments I already saw drastic improvement!

Monique is a wonderful, caring provider. She has helped me with pain, emotional distress, and hormonal issues. I feel at ease with her and I know that I am in good hands when she is treating me, she always makes me feel heard and supported! I highly recommend seeing her for acupuncture.

I moved here from Florida earlier this year to be near my son and grandchildren and glad I found Monique and Aligned Modern Health. She's been great helping me reduce the anxiousness I had with moving to a completely new city. I love that she's not only effective at helping me reduce my anxiousness with acupuncture, but she's a great listener! I always feel like she really hears me and understands how she can help. I can't recommend her enough.
