Dr. Bergman has taken certificate courses through Harvard University Medical School in Wound Care. He is also certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, and he is a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.
Dr. Bergman works with all types of patients, although he specializes in wound care and foot care for diabetic, elderly, and at-risk patients. A few of the conditions he treats include infections, ankle injuries, corns, nail problems, and plantar fasciitis.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Bergman often volunteers in his community. He has been a speaker at many community meetings and worked with the Hillsborough Rescue Squad.
