My visit went really well, the staff was easy to find and in a good location. The staff were nice and helpful and Dr. Robertson was easy to talk to and was a great listener.

Dr. Nadia Robertson is an experienced psychiatrist who provides caring, effective, and evidence based treatments to meet the needs of her patients. She strives to provide empathy and warmth when treating patients. Dr. Robertson believes that trust in the clinical setting is fostered by taking the adequate time to meet the needs of her patients. She is a major proponent of psychotherapy and well versed in cognitive behavioral therapy. She believes in using psychiatric medications judiciously and when appropriate to treat the patient in the most effective and safe manner.
Dr. Robertson specializes in treating adults with anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD and adjustment difficulties with life transitions. Her expertise in assessment and diagnosis is used to determine when psychiatric medications are appropriate with a focus on efficacy and minimizing side effects. Her particular clinical interests are in generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder and panic disorder.
Dr. Robertson received her Medical Degree from the Duke University School of Medicine and her BS from Cornell University. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan where she served as chief resident. In addition to her clinical work, she has experience in the partial hospitalization program setting. She was recognized in 2016 and 2017 top doctors in Northern Virginia magazine.

The doctor & practice are detailed oriented. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I'm confident Dr. Robertson will be able to help. She didn't rush, she was very confident & it was a very relaxing office. I didn't feel rushed at all.
