“I recommend and I highly recommend Dr Nan MacLean, I was skeptical at first about doing and finding a doctor the way I did but after I had to experience to meet this doctor she is really addressed my issues and has my medication where it needs to be for me not too much not too little just right she knows what she's talking about and she listens very well mannered and has a great client to doctor relationship with her clients I recommend her 100% keep up the good work.. Nan MacLean is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Nan has a comprehensive approach to mental health with compassion and understanding. She has a primary focus on mental health care through healthy lifestyles, mindfulness, personal empowerment, and medication management. Nan specializes in trauma-informed care and self-actualization. Before pursuing her dreams in the medical field, Nan earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in biology. She also holds two master's degrees in psychiatric mental health nursing-one from Case Western Reserve University and another from The Ohio State University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at The Ohio State University with a focus on holistic mental health care. Before becoming a PMHNP, Nan worked as a registered nurse in various areas of mental health care, including correctional medicine, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, and addiction medicine. From her diverse experience, Nan understands the importance of treating the whole person-mind, body, and spirit. Nan is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, journaling, and spending time with family and friends.

Nan MacLean is a highly knowledgeable and intelligent psychiatrist. I have a chronic illness and have struggled with psychiatrist care in the past because of that— she always takes my concerns into consideration and works with me instead of over me. She goes above and beyond with her care through her strong critical thinking skills. She is just generally a very kind and sensitive individual, a person easy to trust with your health.
