Dr. Baron is the rare doctor who really digs into the issues you describe as being prevalent. She spends the time to gather the relevant history, asks a lot of questions, and analyzes the data. She has an obviously inquisitive mind, is extremely thorough, and ultimately wants to figure out WHY your condition resulted, as opposed to just trying to treat the symptoms. I had a complicated that crossed multiple medical specialties and, as a result, saw many doctors, all of whom (except Dr. Baron) who would only deal with my problem piecemeal. She was the only one who was able to piece together all of my symptoms and give me an explanation as to why it occurred, and importantly, how to avoid it in the future. I could not recommend her more highly.

After years of practicing medicine, and now with months of experience caring for patients during the pandemic, I have found that I am able to address many immediate medical needs, preventive care, and ongoing care of many chronic conditions by means of telemedicine. I have actively kept abreast of COVID-19 developments and am particularly interested in helping patients, families and community members prevent and deal with COVID.
For the time being, these services are available for EXISTING patients, family members of existing patients, and by direct referral from physicians and other colleagues.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. We must have your current insurance info (company, member ID#, uploaded insurance card) before we confirm an appointment.
2. We will contact you with instructions on accessing our Telemedicine App & joining your visit, after we confirm your ‘booking’ – it is easy!
3. We will do our best to meet special requests for appointment times outside the posted open times & to work around insurance or financial problems resulting from the pandemic.

I want to start by saying that Dr. Baron is a very, very nice person. I booked her due to the highly rated reviews, so I wanted to provide honest feedback for those who might be considering seeing her for the first time.
1) The wait time was 40+ minutes. While I was waiting, I could hear the entire conversation she was having with the patient she was in the examination room with before me -- including very personal patient information.
2) The review of medical history felt excessive. We sat in her office for 20+ minutes reviewing the entirety of not only my medical history, but my family's, before we even discussed what brought me in for the appointment.
3) I had blood drawn as part of the consultation and the doctor told me that I would need to remind her to send me the lab results because "she would forget." That didn't exactly inspire confidence for me.

First visit. She took 1 1/2 hours to take complete history. Listened and probed to be sure she had whole picture. Compassionate doctor who seems to enjoy her work. Dr Baron is very lovely and attentive! She spent a lot of time going over my medical history and took all concerns seriously, she has a great bedside manner and clearly knows what she's talking about. She also took time to get to know me on a more personal level, which I think is important for a primary care doctor. Her office is nice and modern as well. Definitely recommend!

I really appreciate that Dr. Baron spent plenty of time taking my history and listening to what I had to say. My first appointment was quite long, but I had expected this and blocked off enough time to get through everything. It's a rarity to have Doctors who you feel take the time instead of rushing you through the door and I felt very comfortable and at ease the entire visit.

Firstly, Dr. Baron is sweet as pie. I chose her because she had such good ratings on ZocDoc. Secondly, I have never met a doctor who “doesn’t trust themself” with taking my blood because they cannot find my vein, and would prefer trying the next time I see her — or sending me to a specialist, again, to get my blood taken. I have never been so nervous about someone taking my blood.
I came in for stomach pains and nausea; and she asked me everything about my medical history from infancy to now. She even asked about my siblings, my parents, and my relationship with them. She even educated me on the history of birth control and the lack of studies on it. She is not the best listener; as I struggled to get a word in about the reason for my visit. I spent an hour with her, and at the end, I had to remind her the reason for my visit to which she said “doesn’t sound serious” and to come back if it gets worse.

I really liked Dr. Baron's personality. She requires a LOT paperwork, so you have to be patient. She also does LONG intake sessions if you are a new patient. But the time I went through all my problems, got examined, and blood drawn, it took me about 2 1/2 hours. So be prepared. With my follow up appointment, I can more confidently determine if I want to score her as "Highly Recommended."

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Baron. I have been a patient of hers for over 15 years. She gets your full history, walks you through available remedies, looks into questions and always follows up promptly. Dr. Baron clearly cares about her patients' wellbeing and is so knowledgable. It's easy to talk to her and easy to get an appointment. Dr. Baron is also very well-connected in the City. She has referred me to all my specialists (OB/GYN, gastro) who are all top of their fields and able to get me in quickly because of Dr. Baron. She's kept me healthy for years. Big fan!

What I value most is her willingness to spend the time necessary to give me the medical care and attention I need and to provide me with clear and consistently accurate diagnoses and recommendations. She brings both her cutting edge knowledge as well as her wisdom to bear in providing the superior medical care that only comes from great experience.

She is an excellent diagnostician. And knows just what meds to prescribe if any are needed. She never over-medicates.
