Dr. Nancy Heine is a transplant to Texas. She is from a small town in South Dakota and graduated cum laude from South Dakota State University. Dr. Heine then moved to Houston to attend University of Houston where she graduated with her doctorate of optometry in 2008. During her studies, she received 2 letters of clinical excellence and completed a vigorous internship at the VA in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Heine owned and practiced at Lakeside Eye Associates in west Houston for the past 10 years and looks forward to continue providing quality eye care at MPV.
Dr. Heine is a current member of the Texas Optometry Association and the American Optometry Association. She currently resides in the Oak Forest neighborhood with her wife Hatti and 3 year old son.

My visit exceeded my highest expectations for an eye doctor. The service from the front desk staff to the doctor was positive, intentional, and thorough. I received a complimentary coffee from their Keurig machine, I have been able to get my glasses corrected for free when I was only there for contacts, and the doctor made sure she explained every test she gave me. I recommend Dr. Heine and her office to all my family and friends.

Dr Heine is very professional and attentive to whatever concern you might have. She gives you options as to what best fits your needs. Staff is amazing as well , i like the fact that they advise you of other testing/imaging and will tell you ahead of time should there be additional charges but yet they give you the option to opt out if desired and they don't push or pressure. Dr will advise should it be absolutely necessary and won't make you feel guilty for not having said testing. Im highly pleased with the care i received from Dr Heine and the staff definitely would recommended for your eye care needs.

Fantastic visit! First time patient here; went in for annual eye exam. Front desk staff were kind and accommodating. Anna was incredibly welcoming and made the visit easy and worthwhile. Dr. Heine was very kind and explained each process thoroughly, with a great sense of humor. At the end, Marissa was able to get me set up with a pair of prescription sunglasses. Highly recommend this spot; will be back, and hopefully you will, too!
