She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1985 and was a Senior Staff Physician at the prestigious Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan for 17 years before she decided to move to Austin, TX in 2002. One thing I don't like that my appointment with Dr. Kohli, but she was not came and some other lady doctor saw. And even nobody told me that Dr. Kholi will not see you and some other lady doctor will see you.
I think this is misleading that you took the appt with person and finally some one else come to see without any courtesy and reason why she can't see.

I like Dr. Kohli. She's competent and caring. There's just one minor problem: her office is a bit understaffed.
I was seeing the doctor herself because the physician's assistant with whom my appointment had been scheduled left the practice, and I guess she hasn't had time to find a replacement. She was very apologetic, and I understand the challenge she has in running a booming medical practice. I guess she's a victim of her own success.

I went in with the good intentions of finding a new primary care physician. Boy, did I pick the wrong doctor and clinic. The wait time to see her was ~55minutes. I spoke to two staff members during the wait who basically asked me the same round of questions I had answered on the website (which I was encouraged to do before I came in). Complete waste of time if you ask me. I made an appt. with a doctor but the PA or NP ended doing the actual physical. The worst part of this is I went in for a regular checkup but the visit was billed as a problem visit so I was charged accordingly. The case summary was written up extensively as if we had a very lengthy conversation. I spoke to the actual doctor all but 10 minutes, and she started talking about another patient's EKG to the NP in front of me. Rude!
I've contacted them twice about all this, but they seem to be ignoring me now. Needless, to say I will not be returning and will tell others to stay away from here as well.

I am extremely pleased and impressed with her open and positive personality, and in discussing office policies,etc. She is very amicable and interested in how she can help me with my health goals. I have never really encountered a doctor who would take as much time with me as she did making sure that all my concerns were addressed and who is so devoted to helping people reach their next level of health and continue upward. I felt that I was being respected and taken seriously. She and her team are all I ever really wanted in a doctor and am very thankful that I found her.

My visit went as expected....very well. Her P.A. was attentive and listened to my issues. Recorded new information I brought in. Both he and Dr. Kohli looked over my updated Rx drug and supplements list. Dr. Kohli went over my recent blood tests results and my history as well, assuring that she covered all the bases. She asked questions that were pertinent to my well being. I am very pleased with my overall experience today.

The one complaint I have is that I got there early to fill out paperwork, but ended up waiting quite a while (about 25 minutes after my appointment was scheduled) for any receptionist to greet me. If I were in a hurry, I would have had to reschedule.

I am a very happy patient of Dr. Nandini Kohli. She makes a personal connection with her patients and listens for any concerns she needs to address.
Other than close to an hour wait time (irrespective of time of visit during the day) I have no other concerns to continue to be a patient of hers!
