With more than 35 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, I help individuals, couples, and families develop the insight, skills, and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. I provide virtual therapy throughout California, offering compassionate, personalized care in a supportive and confidential environment.
I work with clients seeking help for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, abuse recovery, life transitions, grief, and addictive or compulsive behaviors. Together, we can transform painful experiences into opportunities for healing and growth, strengthen self-esteem, and build healthier ways of coping and relating to others.
My areas of specialty include recovery from childhood sexual abuse and trauma, clergy and religious sexual abuse, sexual compulsive behaviors, executive coaching, pet bereavement, and the integration of spirituality into therapy for those who wish to incorporate their faith or spiritual beliefs into the healing process.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a consultant, educator, and author. I have provided psychological consultation to Catholic religious orders and Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu organizations worldwide. I am a published author on clergy sexual abuse and a former member of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Crisis Response Team.
I believe that healing occurs within a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you gain greater self-understanding, develop effective coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling and empowered life.
