Naomi Grobstein, MD is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey Medical School. Upon completing medical school, Dr. Grobstein completed her Internship and Residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair. Following the completion of her residency at Mountainside Hospital, Dr. Grobstein decided she wanted to open a practice in Montclair. 28 years later, Family Health Center of Montclair has grown to five doctors.
Family Health Center of Montclair is comprised of five board-certified family physicians; Dr. Naomi Grobstein, Dr. Elizabeth Ramos-Genuino, Dr. Caecilia Hostetler, Dr. Geetha Hrishikesan and Dr. Eva Novak. All of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
The American Academy of Family Physicians defines Family medicine as "a medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. It is a specialty in breadth that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral sciences. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity."
In other words, our doctors specialize in treating every member of a family, from babies to senior citizens. We handle sick visits, adult check-ups, well baby and child exams, immunizations, and office gynecology, including pap smears and contraceptive services. When necessary we refer to specialists in other fields.
