Dr. Naveen Arora earned his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he graduated at the top 10% of his class. He completed his General Surgery internship and Urologic Surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Akron General residency program. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Arora, pursued further specialized training by completing a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center at the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Arora specializes in all areas of urology; he has a particular interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia, kidney stone disease, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, and in all aspects of urologic oncology (bladder, prostate, kidney, testes, penile, adrenal). He has gained a tremendous amount of experience and training in complex operations such as da Vinci robotic assisted prostatectomy, robotic partial and radical nephrectomy, robotic adrenalectomy, robotic pelvic reconstruction for prolapse disease, and robotic cystectomy with both intracorporeal and extracorporeal urinary diversions.
Dr. Arora is a true advocate for his patients and passionate about giving his patients the highest level of care and the best possible outcomes. While a Fellow, he was integral in the development of an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery program in the Carolinas Medical Center Urology Department. This innovative program allowed for enhanced outcomes in his patients including faster recovery and quicker return to activities. He has published multiple articles and presented at many national meetings in the urologic community.
