Dr. Naveen Sharma has been providing state-of-the-art cardiovascular care for over a decade. A native of the Midwest, he brings new, innovative methods of performing minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery to the Glendale and surrounding areas. Realizing early on that atherosclerosis (and the resulting blockages of the arterial system) was a global process, he trained in the use of minimally invasive procedures throughout the body's cardiovascular system.

As a board-certified cardiovascular physician, I enjoy having the opportunity to care for patients of all ages who are suffering from acute and chronic conditions. I subspecialized in both interventional cardiology and vascular medicine because they allow me to initiate lifestyle-improving and, at times, lifesaving therapies. This field has evolved dramatically over the past twenty years, with the addition of new technologies and treatments which help me to provide safer and more effective treatments to you. Dr. Naveen Sharma, board-certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and interventional cardiovascular medicine, has completed subspecialty fellowship training in vascular medicine and advanced minimally-invasive peripheral vascular interventions. He has further completed fellowship training in cardiac computerized tomography (cardiac CT angiography) and vascular ultrasound. Furthermore, he has published more than thirty papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been mentor to numerous physicians. A graduate of Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has trained with the founder of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), a recent president of the ACC, the inventor of echocardiography, and the founder of the American Society of Echocardiography. He has been involved in numerous national and international cardiovascular trials and has been invited to conferences as far away as Europe.
He runs Pasadena’s varicose vein center and treats all forms of venous disease – from venous reflux and lower extremity edema to leg ulcers of all kinds.
He is available on staff at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Huntington Memorial Hospital, and Methodist Hospital of Southern California.
