Nazaneen Nicola Grant is a diligent and friendly ear, nose & throat doctor based in Washington, DC. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Buffalo. Dr. Grant completed her internship and residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and her fellowship at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. She is a board-certified, fellowship-trained laryngeal (voice box) specialist. Her expertise includes evaluation of hoarseness and voice disorders, vocal fold paralysis and paresis, subglottic stenosis, swallowing disorders, and growths in the voice box including polyps, cysts, phonotraumatic lesions, papillomas, and early cancers. She has special training in the use of botox for spasmodic dysphonia, laser surgery in the voice box, awake procedures including vocal fold paralysis rehabilitation, and management of professional voice. Her research interests include laryngeal papillomatosis, Parkinson’s-related voice and swallowing issues, and laser effects on the larynx. She teaches residents and medical students at Georgetown, creates hands-on laryngeal workshops and surgical simulation, and received the Resident Teaching Award in 2013. Dr. Grant is fluent in Spanish.

My overall experience was positive. Office is inside Washington Hospital Center and that left some to be desired but office was pretty straight forward (if I had known she had a location at George town U Hospital, i would have tried to go there.)
The front desk staff was nice. Met with Sasha who was very pleasant and took my vitals. Met with a doctor before Dr. Grant who took the history on my health concern - i think she was Dr. C (dont want to mess up the spelling). I had to get a scope through my nose and they were patient with me and it was tolerable as it could be. Once I received a diagnosis, I did feel rushed about making a decision. Overall, I will be following up in a few months to monitor my diagnosis.
Note - office did not have my Zoc Doc info at first. Informed Zoc Doc and got an immediate call who followed up with dr office immediately, Zoc Doc customer service was great!
