Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Neal Ipema, MD, attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and received his Bachelor of Science degree. He then received his MD from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and competed an OB/Gyn residency at St. Joseph Hospital where he served as chief resident. He is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He practices the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology caring for adolescent, reproductive and post menopausal women. Dr. Ipema has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and laparoscopic surgery, including minimally invasive laparoscopic hysterectomy.
