Dr. Neeraj Sardana, MD
"Communication is key, and I make every effort to help my patients feel comfortable talking with me. Working regularly with medical students, I really enjoy teaching. You can expect me to go the extra mile to reach an accurate diagnosis, and then make sure you understand and agree with the treatment plan. Patients come first." Neeraj Sardana, M.D., joined Digestive Disease Associates in 2013. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Sardana completed graduate coursework in epidemiology at the George Washington University School of Public Health before receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was a Chief Resident. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at University of Vermont / Fletcher Allen Health Care where he received training in general GI, liver disease and advanced endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP. Dr. Sardana has special interest in pancreatic biliary disorders and GI oncology. He is also proud to offer a new, FDA-approved, proven treatment option for patients suffering from fecal incontinence.
