What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
After volunteering at a Hospital in college, I witnessed a lot of disparities in health care that often lead to poor outcomes. This inspired me to become a physician and drove my desire to help people and improve health care outcomes.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love that every day is different, I also love seeing a wide range of patients. Delivering babies is a gift that gives one the ability to participate in someone's life.
How do you connect with your patients?
I believe that listening and showing empathy are incredibly important to building a successful working relationship.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Traveling, spending time with family and friends
What is your advice for your patients?
Take care of all of "you", mentally, physically, spiritually.
