Dr. Halim is a very kind and professional doctor.
I initially gave him a good review but 4-5 months later he became the worst experience I've ever had. I've waited to write this to make sure it was objective and if after time I still feel this way. I've NEVER written a bad review, all my doctors said I had a responsibility to do so. Not sure if he was having a bad day or misunderstood or just wanted to be a jerk to me personally. Maybe he is supportive to other patients and just had a problem with me (which is unethical and unprofessional). His front desk was helpful, but he was a jerk to me. His staff and I had to chase him down to give me a refill. He made it impossible. Having joy in watching me beg and suffer! I had to go to another doctor to get the RX. I went to get the rx he promised twice and forgot both days. He cancelled appointments (I thought that visits would get me Face-to-face and he got paid for the visit it would help to get the refill) and on the 3rd of the 4 visits - they weren't in the office. It The door was locked. They took a long lunch. I waited one hour and they never came. The next day I went in and they apologized but no doctor. BTW THEY EBNDED UP CHARGING ME FOR THE THIS. They were quick to fix the error - but really? I went back and forth for almost two weeks. He then said he refused to give them to me WITHOUT A VISIT WHICH WAS FINE BUT HE WOULD NOT have an appointment for nearly 10 days! Despite cancelling others. He was out of town and booked. So I was willing to do what he needed to make him comfortable, but he wouldn't accept anything. Hoop after hoop. It was a game for him. The staff tried to get me 10 days of medicine but he refused. It was as if he enjoyed the power of withholding my medicine. He had the power and it was just the weirdest power play. He was a tyrant. So he basically did not care that I would not have medicine,,,,this is mean to put someone through such stress to get a refill. I had been on those drugs for 6 years and he had prescribed them to be for 4 months rx HIMSELF. So while It wasn't a long term relationship, there was a history. So there was NO MEDICAL REASON TO BE A JERK. They had my medical history and had access to all the doctors who prescribed them. AND HE PRESCRIBED THEM SEVERAL TIMES! His staff (his wife and a RN) really tried to help me and I'm very appreciative for all the efforts they made to try to get a few pills and help. I have no idea what happened with the Doctor. Maybe he will be good to you, but this is my personal experience. He may be better to you. I do not know. I hope I'm the outlier and I hope he sees his error and this terrible situation was something he learned from which made him a better doctor and someone is healthier because of him. All I know is that he was not good to me.
The staff was very pleasant and courteous.

Great experience entire staff was awesome

Less than 5 minutes in the wait room. Very prompt, efficient, and nice staff. Dr. Halim sits, listens, and engages. He was not preoccupied doing other things or multi-tasking, just there listening to me. He gave options, advice, directions, and overall was just the opposite of what most doctors do. I did not feel like a number, I was actually a patient and he plugged into me when I was in the exam room. This certainly encourages patients to be more on top of their medical concerns/conditions. Thanks so much!
