I have been in practice in the Phoenix area since 1979. I am a solo practitioner and I personally see each of my patients at every office visit. I also attend all my deliveries and personally deliver nearly 100% of my obstetric patients.
I regard it a privilege and a great responsibility to take care of my patients. I am especially happy to establish a long term relationship with my patients and guide them through their obstetric and gynecologic issues. The cornerstone of my practice philosophy is personal care of my patients. I truly enjoy my chosen profession and I believe that this is reflected in the care I provide.

Dr. Trachtenberg is professional...but that's about it. Didn't smile and wasn't very personable during my visit. Didn't ask us if we had any questions about how to handle our first pregnancy. The nurses were nicer than him. He did perform the ultrasound, but showed no enthusiasm about the baby. Visit was short and he kind of treated us like dummies because we thought certain hospitals delivered babies when they, in fact, didn't.
If you want a professional job, go to him. If you want a personable doctor to help you emotionally and physically throughout your pregnancy, look elsewhere.

I was upset that I went in with expectations but I came out with a nightmare but it's not the clinics fault. It made me upset how I was given no explanations about my symptoms but left with a sheet of paper advising me to pay more money for blood work.
