She was excellent! I have anxiety (like I'm sure many do about going to doctors). Dr. Pemberton was immediately made me feel relaxed and at ease. She really took her time talking to me, and I didn't feel rushed. So glad I found a new gyno so close to home. Also, her staff was very friendly and nice unlike the other reviews have stated.

Nicola Pemberton, MD, a native New Yorker, graduated with a Biology degree from the University of Miami, and then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine where she lived for two years in the West Indies. During her third year of medical school, she did her clinical rotations in England, which included a neuroscience selective in the Czech Republic. After graduation, she completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Multiple recognitions for her resident teaching led her to a faculty position at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she was also a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate. Now, she returns to New Jersey, where she resides with her husband and two children.
Dr. Pemberton is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has training in general laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgery (e.g., myomectomy, hysterectomy, ovarian pathology), performs office procedures, such as endometrial ablation, cryosurgery, colposcopy and cone biopsy, and specializes in obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, and benign adult and adolescent gynecology.

Dr. Pemberton was very thorough and explained everything I asked her in detail. She is professional, yet has a very positive and friendly manner. The office was immaculate and the staff was pleasant and professional as well. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Pemberton and office staff were all very pleasant and welcoming in person and on the phone. The office was comfortable and the wait time was minimal. Dr. Pemberton was also very thorough. She reiterated the overall importance of good health, not just from an OBGYN stand point.

My wait time was over an hour only due to an emergency. When my mother went, she was seen right away. Dr. Pemberton is brilliant! She is very friendly, I spoke to her as though I knew her for years. Totally would recommend her!

Since this was my first time at a Gynecologist, I was nervous and was not sure what to expect. But I was put at ease as soon as I came in and spoke to the nurse, who took my vitals and asked me about my family history. Dr. Pemberton took the time to speak to me and get to know me. She also walked me through each step and explained in detail what she would be doing and how it would feel. It also helped that there was a TV in each room since I didn't have to stare at the walls as I waited for the doctor to come in. I highly recommend a visit to Dr. Pemberton's office.

Never thought I would have such a great experience at a GYN. Let me start by saying Dr. Pemberton is the greatest makes you feel very comfortable and she is sooo sweet. She listened to all my millions of questions and explained everything thoroughly. Not like other doctors that try to rush you out. The staff was great especially Brianna and Linda the one that takes the blood work. Beautiful office and very clean including the waiting room. Thanks Dr. Pemberton for making my first visit with you great.

Compared to my pervious visit with my ob/gyn six years ago, this was the best experienced I have ever had. I am going to continue attending this office after my pregnancy. I saw Dr. Pemberton as new patient today, After i left my 5 year doc. I really like the office in general. I has been looking for a new doc in a few months and I chosed dr Pemberton and my experience today was really. The office looks very clean, and professional. Her staff was really nice too. I work as Patient coordinator too and My vision was to find an office were I feel comfortable even though I wait almost 35 minutes to be call and another 20 in the room was worth it because she spent almost around 20 to 25 minutes in the room with me talking. I felt that she was not rushing to leave the room or do my exam quick. She answered all my questions. I can say this is my first time that i spend in appt like this more than 10 minutes with the doctor. I highly recommend dr Pemberton !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first visit with Dr. Pemberton and she was amazing! I was there for my annual exam and pap test. She made me feel so comfortable and took the time to find out about me and answer all of my questions. Over the last few years with my old OB my annual exam was always painful which is what prompted me to seek out a new one. I can tell you that my exam with Dr. Pemberton was pain free. I didn't feel a thing! I highly recommend her and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

It was awesome. I had always been nervous and uptight during doctors visits . But hers was different. She made me relax. No panic. I was encouraged. She is very humble, very approchable, and very friendly. Also she seems to know what she is doing. You could just see the confidence in her. Infact, Doctor Nicola is the best!

My visits with Dr. Pemberton are excellent. She is a great Doctor and her staff is awesome. I always feel comfortable when I come into her office. My appointments are never rushed with her and she answers any questions or concerns I may have. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pemberton!!

I was so impressed with everything about this office. First the waiting room is comfortable and relaxing (waterfall), they even have bottled water available for patients. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Check-in before I even arrived at the office was a breeze with the online patient portal. They explained I can communicate with the doctor and staff via this portal which is something that is important to me. I did not wait at all and was immediately triaged with the wonderful medical assistants and placed in the room (TVS in all the exam rooms)! I met the doctor who was great. She listened to my concerns and alleviated my anxieties while explaining everything to me. I did not feel rushed. I need to have Robotic surgery and Dr. Pemberton will be performing this procedure. I feel very confident with my choice for this surgery with her. When I was leaving there were a few people checking in and everyone was discussing what a wonderful doctor Dr. Pemberton is. I highly recommend her to everyone looking for an OB/GYN.

She took her time with me and did not rush me. She made me feel comfortable with the circumstances. She answered my questions and any concerns I had. I felt good leaving the office. The wait time was worth it because it allowed me to see that she is not just sitting around making me wait, she was actually tending to her other patients and I respect that.

Dr. Pemberton had a wonderful bedside manner. She really did take the time to find about what is going on in my life right now as well as understanding my family history.
I live in Piscataway and the Dr. Is in Union and I am willing to take the ride. The staff is friendly and professional - a great experience.
