I’ve been seeing Dr. McClendon for several years now and can’t imagine going to anyone else for routine care.

Dr. McClendon is great. She listens to all concerns and asks if you have any thoughts on how you would like to proceed (she is not at all condescending, as many doctors can be when you offer your own opinion or ideas), shares other options and her recommendations (clearly stating pros and cons of each option), and works with you to find solutions that are both effective and within your comfort zone. I highly recommend her to anyone who asks me.

Dr. Nicole McClendon grew up in Sacramento, California. She attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a double major in Integrative Biology and Anthropology. Her volunteer work at the Berkeley Free Clinic and specialty training in gynecology laid the foundation for her interest in women’s health. She achieved a Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy from Cal State Hayward. Despite her focus in public health, she knew that clinical medicine was her calling. She pursued a medical degree from Georgetown University finishing in 2004. Her OB/GYN residency was also completed at Georgetown.
Her special interests include caring for the general and high risk obstetric patient, infertility evaluation, contraception options, as well as HPV disease/abnormal pap smears.
