The receptionists are always pleasant when checking in and out. Dr Seymour is wonderful! As a person with hearing loss since age 10, I've seen a lot of audiologists and Nicole is the best: Very professional, she listens to what I say and explains things in a way I can understand.

Dr. Seymour specializes in Cochlear Implants and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids only.Prior to booking an appointment for a Cochlear Implant(CI) or Bone anchored hearing aid(Baha) evaluation with Dr. Seymour, you must have had a hearing test within the past 6 months and that you mail or fax it to her office prior to your appointment. Cochlear Implant or Bone Anchored Hearing Aid evaluation- To be used if you have already had a hearing test and are considering an implant.
Cochlear Implant or Baha Troubleshooting- To be used if your processor is not functioning properly or has broken parts (programming is not included in this appointment).
Cochlear Implant or Baha Programming- To be used for regular check-up appointments where you need testing and/or programming.

My visit with Dr. Seymour went very well. She did the testing and maping and then she sat down with me and spent time to answer all my questions or concerns.

I was satisfied. I am recipient of a newer type of cochlear implant, hybrid. I believe cochlear implants are tricky to program and adjust, and since the hybrid type is so new, it is even a bit more complicated. Nicole has been very responsive to my needs and in trying to resolve any problem I have encountered. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Cl field, but also does not hesitate to involve other experts when necessary. I especially appreciated her inquiry at the start of my last appt, "So, what do you want to tackle first today?" - I had several issues to address, and this allowed "me" to our session and get my most important issues resolved first.
