About Dr. Niki Nguyen

Dr. Niki Nguyen is a board-licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Shortly after, she attended the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX, and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Nguyen completed her externship rotations all over Texas, where she gained proficiency in diagnosing, managing, and treating various ocular diseases such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Nguyen specializes in dry eye management and care, where her ultimate goal is to provide the best care possible for her patients and assist them in their eye care needs.
During Dr. Nguyen’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exploring local coffee shops or restaurants, enjoying the outdoors with her husband, and cheering on the LSU Tigers!

It was great! The biggest thing for me is a provider with good bedside manner. The Dr. described exactly what she believed the problem was in terminology I could easily understand, and then gave her suggested solution. I really appreciated her, the office staff, and the visit overall.
