She completed her internship in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and her ophthalmology training and glaucoma fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been named one of America’s Top Ophthalmologists as well as one of the top ophthalmologists in the area by the “Washingtonian” magazine.
