Noam Spinowitz, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in the maintenance and management of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. Dr. Spinowitz also frequently places peritoneal dialysis catheters using a non-surgical approach, saving patients from long recovery times, general anesthesia, and a hospital stay. He has been asked to speak at numerous conferences about his technique. Dr. Spinowitz strives to provide an outstanding experience for his patients and their families. He is devoted to providing both clinical and service excellence in a caring culture. His patient care philosophy has always been, “patients come first.” His congenial personality helps make the visit an enjoyable experience. He is compassionate, caring, and respectful and prides himself on thoroughly communicating the details of the procedures with his patients so that they fully understand how they can best preserve their access. He believes coordination with the patient’s nephrologist and dialysis center is paramount to ensure complete care for the patient. Dr. Spinowitz earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein Medical College and completed an internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a nephrology fellowship at New York University. Dr. Spinowitz is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and is ASDIN certified as an interventional nephrologist.
