Dr. Nomita J. Kim is a Family Practice and Urgent Care doctor at Victory Medical in South Austin, Texas.
She believes that the greatest part of being a family physician is collaborating with patients and specialists on numerous issues that are integral to an individual’s well-being. She enjoys working with all age groups and serving the local community.
Dr. Kim earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1998. She then completed her residency in Family Practice at UAMS in 2001. She previously worked at an autism clinic in Pennsylvania.
Patients appreciate Dr. Kim for her compassionate and understanding nature, as well as for her ability to make sure all individuals are highly informed about their medical treatment options. She is an integral part of the Victory Medical team and always has the best interests of her patients in mind.

I had a great visit with Dr. Kim and would recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care doctor in Austin! Dr. Kim was personable throughout the appointment and made me feel very comfortable.
The appointment started right on time and took less than an hour with bloodwork (on-site) included. I had a few questions on insurance before my visit and their messaging system made it easy to get the answers that I needed.
The only shortcoming I see is that bloodwork results are not shared electronically like in other places I have been. Instead, they set a follow-up appointment to review the results but I'll be requesting that they share them sooner so that I don't have to go in for a follow-up in a few months. If a follow-up is truly required I'd probably remove a star or two from this rating but don't want to pre-judge based on info I don't have yet, so would suggest clarifying for yourself before the appointment.

Front desk staff were rude and dismissive, and did not wear masks despite the requirement in the office (posted everywhere!!) and the overflowing urgent care clinic on the floor below. Additionally, I was told that Dr Kim would charge extra if I
asked anything outside the scope of a well visit, so I had to tell her explicitly not to cover anything non-preventative to avoid additional charges. I encourage you to triple-check with front desk staff and with Dr Kim before your appointment to avoid unexpected costs.
