Dr. Noreen began her journey in general surgery where she became greatly interested in women’s health and wellness and ultimately decided to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kamal-Mostafavi graduated residency from Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After residency Dr. Kamal joined a private practice in NJ, her native state. She has performed numerous complex laparoscopic/Robotic and minimally invasive surgeries and is certified by Intuitive in Surgical Da Vinci Surgical System. Dr. Noreen’s appreciation for beauty and commitment to keeping abreast with newest advancement in medicine lead her to become deeply intrigued by the ever-evolving Aesthetic Medicine Specialty. She attained Board certification by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Aesthetic Association. Dr. Kamal-Mostafavi has an astute eye for beauty and is committed to achieving natural-looking outcomes for both facial and gynecologic aesthetic procedures. Dr. Kamal left a busy practice in NJ and moved across the bridge after marrying Staten Island’s native Laser and Cataract Surgeon Dr. Ray Mostafavi and giving birth to their daughter Alyeen. She soon decided to design and open a new state of the art practice alongside her husband in the heart of Staten Island. Dr. Noreen is dedicated to women’s health and beauty and committed to bringing the newest and most advanced technology to her patients. My experience was absolutely fantastic. I brought my 16 year old daughter for an issue she had been having for a while. This provider was patient, thorough, and understanding. She made the visit very comfortable for my daughter. We left feeling very satisfied. As well, the office is very clean and beautifully decorated. I highly recommended.

Office staff was super nice and friendly. Office is super clean. The Doctor takes her time with each patient going over any concerns or problems. She listened to me explain my health issues and is sending me for a full work up. I will wait as long as needed because she truly listens to you which I never had from an obgyn before.

My experience with Dr. Mostafavi was exceptional for many reasons. Booking the appointment was simple and the text messaging service makes any communication very convenient. I went to the office to request tubal sterilization. Many doctors have turned me down in the past because they felt they had the right to a say in my reproductive choices. Dr. Mostafavi listened to me, gave me my options, and honored my request without judgement or bias. I felt extremely comfortable speaking about my concerns and needs and I also felt that my decision was fully supported by her and the staff. Booking the surgery was a breeze, the day of the surgery was stress free, and the recovery was quick and painless. During my follow up appointment, Dr. Mostafavi was able to show me pictures of the procedure as she described what she did and the steps she took during the procedure. Overall, I highly recommend this office because Dr. Mostafavi truly cares about her patients and takes pride in her work.

Dr Noreen was welcoming & sweet! Nonjudgmental & that’s a BIG one for me...she took her time and actually drew out parts of the reproductive system to further explain ( I’ve never had a physician do that). Oh and her office is BEAUTIFUL!! ....even the bathroom lol...clean & nice! The Medical assistants are also sweet & welcoming.

This was my first visit at this office. The office is well lit, clean and very modern. I was her last patient of the day. Her assistant and the front desk staff were so friendly which was a change from the last office I left. My online demographic form wouldn’t load so I had to go over everything in the office with the doctors assistant. She took her time having me answer all of my case history which was really good because I tend to forget about mentioning things that aren’t a major health concern . Then the MD spent quite some time with me, which I wasn’t expecting since I was the last patient of the day. I left the office that day with a follow up appointment for some testing and a game plan on how we might go about handling an issue that I’ve been having for years. Coming here was such a breath of fresh air since my last GYN rushed me out year after year and literally told me that there’s nothing more that they can do other than have me take an NSAID. I know it’s only one visit, but I’m so glad I left my old GYN. Highly recommended!

The office entirely is very modern, clean and up to date. The receptionist/front staff was very welcoming. I was the first patient of the day so I didn’t wait at all. Dr. Kamal-Mostafavi was very attentive to my concerns and even brought some new issues to light (that other MDs ignored). She took the time to listen and help me understand my concerns. I definitely recommend and will surely return!

Dr Mostafavi was very detailed and took her time to explain everything to me. However, I waited for almost 2 hrs to see her, she’s a great doctor but you’ll definitely have to tolerate the wait time.

She and her staff were completely thorough during our meeting. She/they both went through everything with me step by step, explaining everything to me so I fully understood what has been going on with my body, so much so that Dr Mostafavi is willing to speak with my psychiatrist to help change my medication for depression that could help my post menopausal difficulties. Also she told me things about my constant urinary tract infections that I’ve NEVER been told before by any other PCP or GYN in as long as 6 years to date. And even sweettalked me, for my own health and well being, into agreeing to finally going through with a long overdue colonoscopy. I highly recommend her. I will most definitely continue to be her patient from now on. And I will be talking to my family and friends about possibly using her as their doctor. I actually look forward to our next meeting.

Dr. Kamal-Mostafavi was great! Thoroughly went through my medical history, and made me feel comfortable. The ultrasound technician (forgot her name) at the clinic was also wonderful, very respectful and professional. Only complaint are the nurses. They weren’t wearing masks properly, or at all. Were brash and borderline rude, very unprofessional. I was already nervous about seeing a new doctor and that didn’t help. Other than that, a very clean, nice clinic.

Hands down best doctor I have ever seen. I waited 5 minutes to be taken in and spent almost an hour with the doctor going over my health and her answering questions and explaining things in depth that no one had ever done before. I‘m used to to waiting an hour and being seen for 5 minutes before the doctor sends me on my way but Dr. Mostafavi was extremely thorough. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I’m so glad I came here.

I had a very pleasant experience at Dr. Modtafavi’s office. I did wait almost 2 hours to be seen, but the staff assured me that it was due to a prior emergency the doctor had, which caused quite a delay in patients being seen, which was not the norm. All of the staff was extremely pleasant and the doctor was exceptional! Very professional, caring and thorough the whole time. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mostafavi to other women!!

She was great! I was very nervous because it was my first time seeing a gynecologist. She was very professional and took her time with me to make make sure I understood everything she was explaining.
