The ladies were lovely and the doctor was easy to talk to. Very modern office. Everyone was very nice and polite.
Very personable and informative
he really made me feel comfortable he was very good with addressing my issues. I would highly recommend him.Thank you Dr Oleg katcher MD.
The building is not handicapped accessible. There are several steps down and the office is extremely narrow. I suffer from claustrophobia and being there made me very nervous. The staff was less than professional, in fact cold is a more accurate description. The restroom is the the size of a tiny closet. I did not feel as though enough time was dedicated to me. The doctor saw me for less than two minutes and never looked me in the eyes. There was no rapport whatsoever. Will not recommend nor will I ever return.
I think the Doxtor was great but it was so packed . They only have the Staten Island office open once a week . I waited more than an hour and a half to be seen . The staff is nice but have thick accents and sometimes it was hard for me to understand them and for them to understand me . They are ordering for me to do a bunch of tests which I know I need but since there availability is small you end up having to come back every other week for a long time . If you have patience , if your are Russian , great place for you . I will go back but not sure how i feel about it
Very good Doctor
Great doctor, very understandable!

Dr. Katcher had excellent bedside manner and his staff is very professional and organized I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family
Considerate, highly knowledgeable and professional
super thorough doctor! Highly recommended! And he has a great staff too
very bad communication skills
very pleasant experience. Doctor and nurses are very polite, accommodating and helpful. would recommend.
He was a very thorough doctor, he didn't rush the visit at all and made sure to ask many question. Happy to have found him here!
The moldy and rather unclean entry way to the basement office needs to be cleaned. I found both the receptionist and the medical assistant hard to understand due to a rather thick Eastern European accent. I work with opera signers from Russia, Eastern Europe and numerous other European and Asian countries and seldom have trouble understanding the most thick accent. Their manner was brusque and not very pleasant. The clinic where the colonoscopy is to be done is on the far south shore of Staten Island which is very difficult to get to. I do not have a car so public transport to that location is very difficult. I may seek another doctor. The actual exam by the doctor seemed perfunctory at best. The paper work upon arrival was confusing particularly one waiver that I was asked to sign which when I questioned it I was told not to worry about this as the doctor would explain that sometimes they used assistants in the operating room who are not part of the network, meaning the insurance would not cover their fees. I did not sign this waiver nor was any further explanation given.
The office staff and medical team are all nice and take time to explain everything to you, however the wait time was well over an hour.
Love going to see Dr. Katcher. Very informative and concern about my well-being.
Good doctor. Easy find out that my problems are only lactose and fructose intolerance. Now, I know how to manage it, and no more stomach pain.
I was rather surprised by the service.I would say it is NYC quality of service at Brooklyn. ( rare case!!!!!). My complements to ZocDoc. Please keep the same high standards selecting the doctors for your network . It is my second doctor I booked throughout the website. Back to Doc review. Oleg takes so many Med Insurances you will be surprised. Oleg Katcher is very qualified as a Gustoenterologist and has great interpersonal skills to deal with any patient. As patients we need both! I came with my stubborn teen daughter. He treated her as a adult and he gain her trust instantly. He explains your condition or procedure to be done in baby language anybody can understand. He takes time to go through all the options and their sequence. He opts for the most conservative/natural treatment to begin with. I believe he has some medical degree from former USSR. So, he had great exposure . On the top of it, he is a charming guy you feel comfortable enough to discuss the hemorrhoid treatment for example. I actually plan to be back for food allergy test for myself. THANK YOU :) Visited the office Jan 14 2014.
Dr. Katcher was very thorough, and I really appreciated how well he explained everything to me. His staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Katcher seems to be a very good professional, but the wait time needs to be cut in half at least. I have scheduled few tests with him in the future, we ll see how those go.
Good doctor. Listening to patients complains.
