The building is not handicapped accessible. There are several steps down and the office is extremely narrow. I suffer from claustrophobia and being there made me very nervous. The staff was less than professional, in fact cold is a more accurate description. The restroom is the the size of a tiny closet. I did not feel as though enough time was dedicated to me. The doctor saw me for less than two minutes and never looked me in the eyes. There was no rapport whatsoever. Will not recommend nor will I ever return.
I think the Doxtor was great but it was so packed . They only have the Staten Island office open once a week . I waited more than an hour and a half to be seen . The staff is nice but have thick accents and sometimes it was hard for me to understand them and for them to understand me . They are ordering for me to do a bunch of tests which I know I need but since there availability is small you end up having to come back every other week for a long time . If you have patience , if your are Russian , great place for you . I will go back but not sure how i feel about it
Good doctor.

He was a very thorough doctor, he didn't rush the visit at all and made sure to ask many question. Happy to have found him here!

The office staff and medical team are all nice and take time to explain everything to you, however the wait time was well over an hour.
I was rather surprised by the service.I would say it is NYC quality of service at Brooklyn. ( rare case!!!!!). My complements to ZocDoc. Please keep the same high standards selecting the doctors for your network . It is my second doctor I booked throughout the website. Back to Doc review. Oleg takes so many Med Insurances you will be surprised. Oleg Katcher is very qualified as a Gustoenterologist and has great interpersonal skills to deal with any patient. As patients we need both! I came with my stubborn teen daughter. He treated her as a adult and he gain her trust instantly. He explains your condition or procedure to be done in baby language anybody can understand. He takes time to go through all the options and their sequence. He opts for the most conservative/natural treatment to begin with. I believe he has some medical degree from former USSR. So, he had great exposure . On the top of it, he is a charming guy you feel comfortable enough to discuss the hemorrhoid treatment for example. I actually plan to be back for food allergy test for myself. THANK YOU :) Visited the office Jan 14 2014.

Dr. Katcher seems to be a very good professional, but the wait time needs to be cut in half at least. I have scheduled few tests with him in the future, we ll see how those go.
Verified patient
Dr. Katcher was very thorough, and I really appreciated how well he explained everything to me. His staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Verified patient
Dr. Katcher was thorough, attentive, took my statements seriously and seemed concerned. I was able to schedule endoscopy for the following week, which was done on site. I am really satisfied with the outcome and will recommend to my friends.
