Olubusayo “Saya” Obayan, M.D. M.P.H., graduated cum laude from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical doctorate from the Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. After medical school, Dr. Obayan completed an internal medicine internship through the Internal Medicine Program of Brown University in Providence, RI. She went on to complete a Dermatology Residency at the Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Obayan is passionate about spreading awareness about skin care and skin cancer. She has taken leadership roles in advocating for dermatologic and health policy, including an ongoing role in tanning bed legislation.
She knows you will probably go online to research your symptoms before your visit and you might be a little nervous. “When people come in they have gone online and they’re pretty anxious about their diagnosis. The best part of my job is reassuring them that it will be okay and we’re going to work together to get better.” she says

The doctor refused to explain the result to me via email, they asked me to come back to the office to do an office visit. Explaining the result is just one sentence it literally takes 10 seconds.
Also, they took a piece of skin and they didn't tell me that it will leave scars on the skin, I still have that on my skin and sometimes it gets itchy.

Dr. Obayan and her staff are lovely people that are incredibly kind, which makes it all the more difficult to leave this review. To be completely honest, Dr. Obayan was not helpful to me in my struggle with cystic with acne, other than providing me with steroid injections for larger cysts. I would go in at my wits end, desperate for help and advice. She seemed very empathic, but never offered any potential solutions, other than the one prescription I tried that didn't work for me. I had to do all my own research and suggest other options for treatment. I have now seen another dermatologist, who was full of ideas that were never offered to me at Dr. Obayan's. I now feel like I wasted months feeling depressed and horrible about myself for absolutely no reason. To giver her the benefit of the doubt, Dr. Obayan may have had her own reasons for not offering these other treatments to me, but it was never communicated, so I have no idea.

I always have an amazing experience when I see Dr. Saya. She is always so attentive and caring. I have had two biopsies and it has never hurt and has healed perfectly! The best doctor ever!

There was some confusion on the scheduling but the receptionist made it right for us. She was very nice and professional. Dr Obayan was amazing. She was able to identify what was going with my son very quickly. Was very detail and efficient. I understand why she has a rating of 5stars. I did a lot of research before going to her and I am glad that I was able to experience what the rating had listed for her( great experience) One thing I commend this Dr. on is she knows her practice well, she was able to move the patients in and out very quickly, which shows that she is mindful of her patients time. Thank you Dr. Obayan and you receptionist for a great visit.

My only complaint was the complex is slightly confusing, so be sure to get there a little early just in case you get turned around.

I can't say enough good things about them! I walked in, got my paperwork done, then was immediately seen! I found them online at around midnight the night prior and was in the next day at a time that was convenient for me! Dr. Saya is INCREDIBLE. Very sweet woman and she's got the staff to match. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend them to everyone I know! ??

She listens, she evaluates and has a constant eye on not only your stated concerns but on the rest of you too. She is very thorough and business-like, but also friendly and engaging. She took the time to fully explain her diagnosis and the treatment plan with me in a manner that I understood and asked if I had any questions or concerns. In short, the perfect doctor’s appointment. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment with Dr. Obayan in a few weeks.
