Patients of the other pediatricians in uptown Hoboken who are sick of the ridiculous wait times and bad attitudes should give this practice a try. They have pleasant and polite staff, the doctor gets to work on time, and appointments are on time. Stop being treated like a farm animal and make the change.

Dr. Omar Baker joined Riverside Pediatric Group in 2011 and is Riverside's Director of Clinical Practices & Quality Control. He cares for patients at Riverside’s newest office in Jersey City Waterfront. Dr. Baker is proud to carry on the family legacy of caring for Northern Jersey’s most valuable patients – its children, started by his father some 35 years ago. As one of Riverside’s bright young stars, Dr. Baker brings a stellar academic and training background along with an unparalleled passion to provide the best care possible to the children of Riverside families.
Dr. Baker received his undergraduate and medical degrees from The George Washington University in Washington D.C, as a graduate of a very elite and selective combined Bachelor/M.D. program. He graduated Magna Cum Laude before proceeding to do his pediatric training at the prestigious NYU Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. During both his second and third year as a resident, Dr. Baker was granted the Inpatient Resident of the Year Award by his attending physicians. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics. During his training at NYU Medical Center, Dr. Baker developed a keen interest in Pediatric Critical/Intensive Care and honed his skills in caring for some of New York’s sickest children in the Pediatric ICU. It is this special interest and focus on pediatric critical care that makes Dr. Baker such a wonderful resource for Riverside patients, as he is available late hours in the Secaucus headquarters for all Riverside patients throughout Northern New Jersey who require after-hours acute care.

I brought my newborn here, who was discharged from NICU the day before. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My baby was seen right away because he was newborn. However, the doctor was in a rush, did not spend time examining our baby or explaining what he was looking at, completely ignoring us (the parents). We had to stop him before he leaves to ask our questions.
I picked Dr. Baker based on the review but I regret it and definitely would not recommend him to a friend.

I am happy with the Doctor and like how clean and nice the doctor's office is; only thing I was not too happy that the nurse that helped with my baby had a cold (she should have stayed at home)
also when I got there they didn't show my appointment and said i should have called to reconfirm before coming in. not sure if they are new to the whole ZOCDoc concept.
