Dr. Ekberg earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed internships at Mount Clemens General Hospital and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, followed by a residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital.
Dr. Ekberg performs annual well-woman exams and treats abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted infections, and provides birth control options. She helps manage heavy, painful, or irregular menses, fibroids, endometriosis, painful intercourse, ovarian issues, urinary incontinence, and pelvic prolapse. Additionally, she supports women with menopausal concerns and has a special interest in hormone replacement therapy and other treatment options.

Dr. Ekberg was so personable and relatable. I forgot I was even having an annual exam. I used to drive hours to go back "home" for my appointments but I'm so glad I found her. I highly recommend her. Very professional and incredibly knowledgable.
