Dr. Atlas is a board certified, fellowship trained, orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in all aspects of spinal care and spinal reconstruction. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont. Subsequently he graduated from UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine where he was a member of the National Medical Honor Society. He went on for his Orthopaedic training at Yale University School of Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Spine Surgery at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases. He specializes in the care and treatment of the neck and back. Dr. Atlas has extensive research experience and has co-authored numerous scientific publications.
Dr. Atlas is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of The North American Spine Society, The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, on the board of directors for The New Jersey State Spine Society.
His interests include complex spine reconstruction. Dr. Atlas devotes 100% of his time to the treatment of the neck and back.
