I am always uncomfortable going to these not fun annual appointments but Dr. Choy always manages to ease the stress for me with her awesome, kind personality; while always maintaining her professional demeanor.
I may loath these particular doctor visits but I always enjoy my visit to Dr. Choy's office, not only because of her but also because of her exceptional staff as well.

Dr. Patricia Choy is proud to serve the OB-GYN needs of Clear Lake and Greater Houston from the Women M.D. offices. She works hard to ensure that her patients get the care they need while having a positive and welcoming experience.
During her 15 years in practice, Dr. Choy has strived to perfect and hone her craft. She began with her Bachelors of Science at the University of Oregon, where she was inspired her to pursue an MD at the University of Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Choy stayed in Chicago for her OB-GYN internship and residency as well, attending the Columbus Hospital. Dr. Choy was always a strong academic force, and belonged to organizations such as the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society while in school. She has also held such prestigious roles as Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Choy is currently involved in professional associations like American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, of which she has been an active member of for over 20 years.

Parking is horrible. I wanted close to 2 hours for an annual which took maybe 5 minutes. I would have liked to been informed that she was that far behind so that I may make the decision to stay or reschedule. I shouldn't have to cancel my entire morning for one routine doctor's appointment but I ended up having to. That is income lost to me.

Dr. Choy sat down to chat for a moment before the actual exam, to find out if there were any problems that I felt needed to be addressed; spoke casually with me for 2-3 minutes--not too long, so as to delay others waiting to be seen, I can understand. The well woman exam took maybe 5 minutes and we were done. I had updated my meds and medical issues on Zoc Doc, when I made the appt., so her nurse was able to review all that with me before dr. Choy came in--I think that's a huge plus, so the doctor can see at a glance, any changes, etc. Time saver for her and me. Very friendly and professional.

Other than the extra long wait, I had a great experience. I am not originally from this area and my regular doctor is over 1500 miles away. I had never been to this doctor before and was a little nervous but the doctor was very professional and at the same time friendly and easy to talk to. All of the staff was great and my nurse was super. I think I have found my new doctor!

The office staff was wonderful. I loved the check-in method. Dr. Choy's assistant was friendly. Dr. Choy, however, was brusque and didn't even seem to try to connect with me, a first time patient. I will not return to see her.

The wait was too long (1.5 hours). No one ever came to tell me how much longer she would be, no explanation. Had I been told up front I would have re-scheduled. I had my 2 girls with me, it was stressful. I know she's a doctor and her job is important but my time is valuable too and I feel whenever I go, they just expect you to wait all day for the doctor. It's frustrating.

I have been a patient of Women MD for many years and have seen Dr. Choy on occasion when my regular OB/Gyn, Dr. Taylor, is not available. Dr. Choy is a wonderful doctor and I am so glad she is in practice with Dr. Taylor. I was also pleasantly surprised by the free valet parking at their building. Parking has often been a problem, but no more, thanks to this great solution!

Any wait in our case was due to our being a first time patient. The office is very nice & comfortable -TVs on reality entertainment, so we could've waited much longer & never complained. :)) The electronic form device is so wonderful! and allows the doctor to be clearly aware of any points of importance or concern. Dr. Choy has the sweetest first impression & mannerism. We are completely happy with the referral for her and definitely plan to continue seeing her. We highly recommend her!

Although the OB/GYN appointments are not my ultimate favorite appointments to have to make yearly or regularly - Dr. Choy is always so GREAT, that those types are visits are no longer considered a hassle for me. I am truly glad I found her!!

Did not address my questions and concerns. Came in. Swabbed me and walked out even though I had expressed several concerns. She was running behind by about an hour, or at least that's how long I sat on the table in the worst paper gown ever. And it was cold in the room. I guess my needs weren't as serious as her other patients. I have been a patient here for many years. I can't say this is that unusual. It's just too hard to start over. This year I will. I'm done.
