A native Texan, Dr. Brown graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He received his residency training in Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is Board Certified. Uponcompletion of residency, Dr. Brown joined the practice in 1996. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and has served as Clinical Faculty for the Christus Santa Rosa Family Residency. Dr. Brown is also Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. He is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Brown sees patients at our Northwest and Southeast locations. He sees patients for evaluation and diagnosis of sleep disorders as well as adults and children for general ENT issues. He also has a special interest in endocrine surgery.

The doctor was polite, but I had this sense like he wasn't taking me seriously/wasn't listening to me. He completely ignored the fact that I have reoccurring ear infections and told me it was ear pain from my jaw - except I have actual ear infections every month, diagnosed by a doctor. I tried his recommendation of wearing a night guard, but that hasn't stopped my ear infections.

The receptionist Victoria was extremely rude to most of the patients in the waiting room and wouldn't give a specific wait time. The doctor however was extremely nice although he didn't spend much time at all with me. I waited over an hour and a half my appointment was suppose to be at 9:40 I wasn't seen until 10:45

Looking at the waiting room it was clear that Dr. Brown was busy, but during my visit with him I never felt rushed. He came in the room with a smile, sat down, and took the time to explain EVERYTHING. He explained the current diagnosis, the treatment suggestion, and potential alternative treatments if the situation changes. I left feeling much more at ease. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Brown is the best! I highly recommend him. He has been seeing our son since he was 2. He is now 11 and has come a long way. Today was the first vist with our 4 yr. old daughter. I wish he was a pediatrician! He is really good with children.

I was very happy with the thoroughness of Dr. Brown's examination of my daughter, he listened to both of us, recommended treatment, and explained exactly what to expect before, during and after the surgery. He then made sure my daughter would be as comfortable as possible with antibiotics and steroids until her surgery date. His surgical nurse, Cindy, was also outstanding getting us scheduled for surgery at a convenient time, confirming insurance, and what to expect. I am pleased we chose to see Dr. Brown after a recommendation by another physician friend.
