Dr. Husserl earned his B.S. degree in Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University, followed by his M.D. degree at St. George’s University. He then went on to complete his Residency training at Bridgeport Hospital’s Yale University Program in Connecticut. Following residency, he was appointed to Weill Cornell Medical College’s Center for Reproductive Medicine as a Research Fellow in Infertility. Dr. Husserl now specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at all stages of life, with a special interest in fertility issues and recurrent pregnancy loss. His patients would describe him as very approachable, friendly, meticulous, and generous with his time during visits, always making sure any of your questions are answered thoroughly. Outside of work, Dr. Husserl is a Certified Mohel. Recently married, he and his wife love to spend time together with their Siberian Husky puppy, cooking and baking. He is an avid scuba diver and loves to travel the world.

Dr.Husserl is a phenomenal doctor. He's professional, informative and never makes a patient feel awkward about any medical matters that might arise. I've been a patient of his for years now and I've never had a complaint. There is also rarely any wait time at his offices.

I wanted another opinion on how to treat Adenomyosis. My Gynecologist recommended a Gynecologist for a second opinion. Both were too quick, in my opinion, to recommend a hysterectomy. Because there are a few other options for treatment, I choose to meet with Dr. Husserl for a third opinion because of his background in nutrition. I felt that his education and training would be more holistic and offer me options other than major surgery. Immediately when I came into this practice I was impressed. The staff was friendly and made me feel at ease. Dr. Husserl was very reassuring and what impressed me the most was that he didn't want to come to any conclusion on my next step for treatment until I had an internal exam, blood tests, updated sonogram and a bone density test! This is the type of care I was not receiving from my Gynecologist. What a sense of relief I experienced knowing that Dr. Husserl was making sure that he had all the facts, so that when options were presented for treatment, it was based on the most current and accurate information. Looking forward to my follow up visit with Dr. Husserl to review the test results and come up with a game plan for treatment. The time he spent with me lifted my spirits and gave me hope that I am in good hands. If I do require a hysterectomy, I will go into it knowing that it was not my only option, but my best option.

I switched doctors right away after leaving my appointment with Dr. Husserl. He made me feel stupid when i asked questions and wasn't straight forward with his answers. I wouldnt recommend him to any of my friends or family. The office is still a nice place and i will continue to go there but to someone else.

Dr. Husserl is easy to talk to. He’s friendly and relaxed enough to make a patient comfortable and is also thorough and serious while taking his time with the appointment. The office staff is friendly and polite too.
