The patience of the doctor with my son was absolutely stellar. The office is clean, modern, and comfortable. I scheduled the exam in the morning and was able to have him seen the same day. Although the office is new, I could tell the doctor and staff were well-trained and knew their stuff! I have vsp, but would pay out-of-pocket for the service. I'm telling everyone I know to go to this place.

A 1990 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry, Dr. Yang received the Silhouette Award in Clinical Geriatrics, the Allergan Optical Contact Lens award and a Beta Sigma Kappa Research Grant. He received a B.S. in Biology from UC Irvine in 1986 and appeared on the Dean’s List.
Most of his career has been spent working with Ophthalmologists. He has performed Pre and Post-Operative examinations for a multitude of conditions, including Cataract, Glaucoma, Penetrating Keratoplasty (Corneal Transplant) and LASIK. He has experience working with patients of all ages, from six day old newborns to 102 year olds.
Dr. Yang relates well to his patients due to his own unique history. He is highly nearsighted with a fair amount of astigmatism, possesses a severe case of dry eyes, has chronic allergic conjunctivitis, and glaucoma. He wears progressive glasses most of the time and uses toric contact lenses for playing basketball.
Dr. Yang has had specialty training in Low Vision at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, in Vision Therapy at Juvenile Hall in San Bernardino, Ocular Pathology at the Veteran’s Administration Outpatient Clinic in Las Vegas and Contact Lenses at the Allergan Research Clinic in Irvine. Dr. Yang is also a member of the Optometric Retina Society, the Optometric Glaucoma Society and is certified as a Paragon CRT and Focus Night and Day fitter.
