At Essence Medical Center we strive to offer outstanding Naturopathic Care. Our focus is on finding the root cause to patients symptoms to help their body truly heal. Dr. Paula Lima, was born in Brazil where she learned cultural home remedies to many common illnesses. After moving to the US, she began to experience health issues of her own. It was through her personal experiences and attempts to cure her conditions that her love for medicine began to flourish. Dr. Lima graduated from Arizona State University in 2013 with a B.S.C in Human Nutrition, received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2017 from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in 2018. Her expertise is treating patients with hormonal imbalances, weight loss, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid disease, and regenerative injections. Dr. Lima works diligently and collectively with patients to achieve optimal health through achievable goals.
