Prior to entering the practice of dermatology, Dr. Nelson was an assistant professor and the director of dermatopathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Nelson is an active lecturer on a wide variety of dermatology topics.
Dr. Nelson has been in practice since 1996. She founded Family Dermatology under the name Paula Nelson M.D. & Associates in 1997.
