Waited a bit longer than expected, but once I was in the room I was attended to fairly quickly. I appreciated Dr. Grimes vocalizing her thoughts throughout the appointment. It not only proved that she's great at what she does, but it also made it less stressful as a patient.

As the director of the Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California, she treats patients who have traveled to her office from around the world. She is also serving as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA.
Dr. Grimes is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Dermatological Association, Society of Investigative Dermatology, Dermatology Foundation, International Pigment Cell Society and Women’s Dermatologic Society.
She holds numerous achievements in the field, including being awarded the Dermatology Foundation Practitioner of the Year Award in 2011 and the Women’s Dermatological Society Mentor of the Year award. She has also been listed on the list of LA Magazine’s Super Doctors for the previous 5 years and on the Best Doctors of America list for the last 12.
