Pedram Javanmard, MD, completed his Internal Medicine residency and chief residency training at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital in Long Island, New York. He subsequently moved to New York City and completed his clinical fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Diseases at The Mount Sinai Hospital. After completing fellowship, Dr. Javanmard was delighted to join the faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital as a full time clinical endocrinologist working in 2 of the Queens based offices located in Jackson Heights and Forest Hills. He takes pride in providing excellent patient-centered care, with clear and open communication during and in-between visits a priority. He strives to manage his patients in the most effective, evidence-based, and compassionate manner possible. Furthermore, he is actively involved in mentoring and educating medical students, residents, and fellows. He has published over a dozen highly cited peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented his work at multiple international conferences including ENDO on various topics pertaining to internal medicine, diabetes, bone disease, hyperparathyroidism, and pituitary disease. Additionally, he is the lead author of a book chapter entitled "Mortality in Patients with Endogenous Cushing's Syndrome". Dr. Javanmard thoroughly enjoys and cherishes treating patients of all ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, across the entire spectrum of endocrine-related disease. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Javanmard enjoys reading, watching films, running, biking, and spending time with his wife Dr. Maryam Pouryahya and their 2 childen Ala and Ata.

Dr Javanmard was patient and listened to all my concerns. He interpreted my results by drawing a picture to explain antibodies, etc. which was reassuring. The nurse was upbeat and did her job well.
The front office staff was efficient and kind, but overall it felt a bit chaotic with the rope to protect workers from patients. The result was patients standing in the aisle brushing past one another—not great during a pandemic.
The intake forms are a stupid waste of time. Very repetitive, asking for the same information on each page, which got annoying. Mount Sinai, it’s time to streamline your intake system!!! Would love to have the option to check in ONLINE, saving everyone time.
