I decided to give this office a try because my husband had a great experience back in April of 2018 with Dr. Curcione and having runners knee. Then my mother injured a nerve in her knee while working and Dr. Curcione took extremely good care of my mother. After that, a friend decided to come in before our races scheduled in early November, and she also had a great experience so I decided it would be best for me to choose this office, Dr. Curcione specifically, and I’m beyond happy. The service was excellent at the office with remarkable staff. The Physician Assistant seemed as if he should go and get his doctorate. His bedside manner/genuine personality made me feel comfortable in the room while discussing my knee injury. If I knew his name, I’d definitely be giving him a major shout out! Dr. Curcione entered and yet again, I felt at ease, even though I knew an injury has happened. Dr. Curcione was extremely helpful with getting the diagnosis clear to me so that I could understand the next steps. It is a clear example of what a real doctor should be like. I was hesitant at first, primarily because it’s a runners nightmare having to go to an orthopedic doctor for an injury, but I would 100% absolutely go back to Dr. Curcione as well as I will (and already have) began recommending him. I grew up in Lehigh and a personal preference is to not visit Lehigh facilities, but yet again, the office changed my perceptions. The quality of care is by far the best that I’ve had to encounter regarding injuries I’ve had in the past. If you have doubts on coming here, I promise, you won’t regret it! Dr. Curcione, the PA, the nurses, and all staff members are the best of the best!

Dr. Peter J. Curcione
is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and a partner in the Athletic Orthopedic Reconstruction Center. With offices in Bonita Springs and Lehigh Acres, Curcione has served patients in Southwest Florida since 1997.
His specialty training and interests include joint replacement surgery, including minimally- invasive procedures such as the anterior approach to hip replacement.
In addition, Dr. Curcione is experienced and trained in treating disorders of the shoulder and the hand, including fracture care, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis care and reconstructive surgery of the hand.

Dr was ok - a bit rushed.. he spent 4 minutes with me and I was told that a prescription would be called in. I have details of my pharmacy. The medical assistant even told me to call them before to see if the RX was ready.
When I did, the pharmacy told me that no prescription had been sent over.

I've been seeing Dr Curcione for a few months now dealing with shoulder instability issues. Ended up having him do my arthroscopic shoulder repair earlier this year, and am so happy that I did. He and his staff we're incredibly helpful throughout the process, very informative and reassuring that everything would turn out fine. Worked with me through the post-op rehab and created a plan that helped me get back into the sports I loved as quickly as possible. I recommend him to everyone I know who is in need for an Orthopedic doctor in SWFL.

Very knowledgable doctor with a friendly manner. He figured out what I needed for my back pain and prescribed a predisone pack to fix it. I was in Naples at 9:16am when I shceduled the appointment on Zocdoc; after an x-ray and consultation, I was back in Naples by 12:30pm.
