A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dr.Philip Letada graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia. He then joined the U.S. Navy and earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Letada’s post-graduate training includes an internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and his dermatology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. He is currently a staff dermatologist and head of the Laser and Cosmetic Division of the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Letada is a board certified dermatologist and is a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology. We are delighted to have Dr. Letada join Associates in Dermatology, Inc. and continue our long tradition of providing dermatological excellence to the Hampton Roads Community.

The office staff is very caring and very knowledgable. Provider was on time and took adequate time explaining the diagnosis with us. The appearance of the office was very clean and presentable. The overall experience of the office was great and I would reccomend anyone to see this provider. He is very great with children.
