Dr.Kaushik was born and grew up in New Delhi, India and immigrated to the United States in 2004 to Atlanta, Georgia. He is fluent in Hindi the native language of India. He completed his Bachelor in Science in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of Georgia and went on to earn his M.D. at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his Internal Medicine training in Chicago at University of Illinois Medical Center.
Dr. Kaushik has recently moved to Houston, Texas to continue his career in Internal Medicine with the Wellspire team. He is married to wife Jaime who is an Oncological Pharmacist at M.D. Anderson Hospital. He likes to follow Georgia Bulldogs in college football and travel in his free time.

I felt that he was very professional and I would recommend him as well. I love the fact the office was nice and the nursing staff to was awesome. They really were personable with the patients.

Very professional and willing to answer as many questions as I had. I've been to many doctors that seemed to be in such a hurry. Not Dr. Kaushik. He spent plenty of time discussing my condition and making sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan. Highly recommended!

I was visibly sick, seeking Rx medicine to help me feel better. After waiting in a room for what seemed like 20mins., he said he would shake my hand, but don't want to get sick. I wasn't sure how to take that, as that's what soap water and sanitizer is for. I mainly asked for cough medicine for a bad cough. This guy gave me over the counter Rx! A few days later my coughing was so bad, I could barely breath. I called back and he gave me an antibiotic. He said I probably had a virus so that wouldn't, and didn't do much. Even after a few weeks I had to see another doctor for my cough.
