I love Dr. Koneru! I have been coming to her for nearly 20 years! We moved an hour away from our old home which was only 15 minutes from her office and I still travel the hour to see her! I originally chose to become a new patient with Dr. Koneru based on the outstanding feedback she had from patients. Every positive word that has been written about her, I could not agree more with. She is very compassionate, understanding and invested in the health and well-being each patient. Dr. Koneru is a wonderful, caring Doctor who is extremely knowledgable, friendly, professional and kind. She always asks how my family is doing and really does care about my daughter who struggles with an eating disorder. I have been her patient for 20+ years and do not look forward to finding a new Doctor whenever she decides to retire! Not that she's planning to retire any time soon!

Dr. Koneru will listen to your questions you may have, but there's no point if she is not going to give you hope or treatment on what to do. For example, I advised her that I've had discharge, and painful/uncomfortable intercourse, but she never told me what the cause was or how I could treat it. It's frustrating because I expect to see a doctor that can give me advice or treatment as I suffer from chronic discharge and unpleasurable intercourse, but Dr. Koneru did not help me with any of these issues.

She is professional, but warm and understanding. She is efficient, but listens to your every word, answers all your questions. When you need her, she is always there for you, . She cares, and that will take away any stress you might have.

To be fair, Dr. Koneru delivered 2 babies the day of my appointment so yes, the wait time was a little long but she made up for it with how thorough and friendly she was. She did not rush through my appointment, she took her time answering all my questions and she made me feel very comfortable. 5 stars from me. I highly recommend Dr. Koneru.

Dr. Koneru has been my OB GYN for more than 20 years. She helped me get pregnant, delivered my child and has been a wonderful, caring Doctor since day one. It will be a difficult time once she retires and leaves me to find another Doctor.

When I was first seen by Dr. Prafula I didn't like a comment she had made it really got under my skin and bothered me I was willing to switch doctors I did not appreciate being stereotyped I see her often now and I feel like it is getting better she is much more professional and very caring she does not make me feel uncomfortable anymore I can say now I do like her I believe it was just a bad first impression

What a great doctor! She actually read the forms that I filled out, and went over them so understood whom she was meeting with. A lot of doctors don't pay attention anymore. She was pleasant asked questions and made me feel comfortable. She seemed very informed and I will definitely make my next appointment with her.

She was very nice and all I just did not like the fact that she stereotyped me. I was young when I had my son and I had gone in for my annual and to be seen for a pain she was sure I has inflammatory pelvic disease she believed since u had my son at a young age I had dozens of sexual partners so she believed. I was very offended. My obgyn that as we'll delivered my son never had criticized me in such a manor.
