Doctor Durgam was awesome. She and her staff answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. They already had my medical records from the hospital without me having to do it. Very professional.... highly recommended.

I really enjoyed Dr Durgam, she was very throrough and easy to understand her explanations... the wait to see her however was a little over an hour after my appointment time which was difficult to bear. Rushing to be on time even 15 minutes early to an appointment only to be waiting for over an hour is no fun. I filled out all the paperwork online, i then had to ask the lady in the front if she needed anything else, she took my DL and insurance card and co-pay. Then hands me another packet of papers to sign after i had been sitting there for 20 minutes doing nothing.

Dr. Durgam is the newest physician to join NWHN in October 2015. She is a fellowship trained neurologist in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy and is very excited to provide medical care and educate patients in the Tomball and Cypress areas. Having lived in and trained in Texas all her life, she is very well connected with both neurology and medical communities in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Dr. Durgam completed her Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy training at UT Houston in the Texas Medical Center.
She is well versed in the treatment of both new onset epilepsy cases as well as complex acquired and developmental epilepsy syndromes. She also evaluates patients at the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at the North Cypress Medical Center. In addition, her strong foundation in and love of general neurology makes her an asset to our neurology practice.
Her compassionate and caring attitude helps her relate to her patients instantly. She strives to bring the best medical care to her patients and vigorously advocates for them. She is very personable and enthusiastic to communicate with her referring doctors regarding any aspect of patient care at any time.
Outside of work, Dr. Durgam likes to spend time with her husband and daughter, traveling, cooking and enjoying the outdoors.
