Dr. Priya Shah received her bachelor’s degree at University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. She then went on to earn her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She spent a year working on cutting-edge glaucoma research at Baylor College of Medicine, resulting in publication in the Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science journal. She completed her internship year at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Shah then made her way to the great state of New York, and completed her ophthalmology residency at NYU Langone Health. She specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery, including all currently FDA-approved multifocal and toric lenses that correct for reading vision and astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery.
