After they called me in I had to sit in one of the private rooms unattended for half an hour waiting for the doctor to see me. A whole day after my visit, the prescription was still not sent to my pharmacy. Good doctor, horrible service.

Dr. R. Antonio Portela completed his undergraduate training at the University of Florida where he graduated cum laude receiving his bachelors degree in Business Management. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. He remained at Penn State for his residency training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery. He served as chief resident during his last year.
Dr. Portela practices both pediatric and adult general otolaryngology. His special interests include the management of adult and pediatric chronic rhinitis, surgical management of upper airway obstruction, and chronic sinus disorders including functional endoscopic sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty.

Great! Doctor takes his time to explain diagnosis/prognosis. He keeps good documentation & reviews previous notes thorougly. Great bed-side manner. Great surgeon!
