She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked in the medical field as an Emergency Medicine Technician. After struggling with her own health, she was introduced to the realm of holistic and natural medicine which led her to becoming a naturopathic doctor.
Dr. Heussner’s practice emphasizes educating patients about their body and how to heal from the inside out. She received additional training in IV therapy, hormone replacement therapy, PRP microneedling, ozone therapy, and craniosacral therapy. She works with people of all ages to balance hormones, enhance energy, reducing aging, optimize nutrition, support anxiety and depression, regulate blood sugar and cholesterol, and address gut issues. In her free time, Dr. Heussner can be found practicing yoga, cooking, traveling, and playing with her dog.
