Rachel graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, before earning her master's degree in nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
Most recently, Rachel worked at the Inner City Health Center in Denver, Colorado, where she served as a primary care provider for patients with both acute and chronic medical needs. She also worked as a nurse with Unity Health Care Inc. in Washington, D.C., providing primary care services to underserved communities and the homeless population.

Rachel has had a unique career path that has taken her to underserved communities both domestic and international. She volunteered in Guatemala at an orphanage and in Uganda at a primary school. These experiences have given her the advantage of understanding advanced medical resources available to all her patients.
A Colorado native, Rachel is an avid baseball fan who loves attending the summer series and traveling to watch her home team. When she isn't working, Rachel enjoys knitting, cooking, and spending time with her family.

I have been going to Rachel for the past year (which unfortunately has has found me sicker than usual). I have seen her with concerns about both my physical and mental health. Each time I’ve seen her I have been met with kindness and confidence in creating a plan that will work for me. As a person with general fear of most medical professionals Rachel has always made me feel cared for and at ease regardless of what I’m dealing with.

I simply could not recommend Rachel more. I felt validated, heard, and cared for. I left almost in tears, I was so overjoyed and overwhelmed by her care. I really liked Rachel! She was great. So we’re the assistants in the room. However the two front desk women were really incompetent. It seemed like they were both blaming each other about making mistakes.
